Lisa and Neil

Head of Community Events & Engagement

Lisa Hevern has dedicated so much of her time and contagious energy to our local events and the engagement of people as well as businesses.  Her constant dedication to making our events and engagement a delight is an understatement.  She has worked tirelessly to provide fun and engaging events for the whole community to experience.  She also dedicates lots of her time to the efforts of the Storey County Chamber of Commerce.

Rewarding and Fun

Volunteering and working to put on such amazing events can be very rewarding.  It brings so much joy and appreciation from the entire community when Lisa is out there chatting with everyone about the fun stuff the Chamber of Commerce has planned.  She gets people excited for the events themselves and works so hard to make sure every detail of the fun is executed so diligently.

The Joy and Excitement

Speaking for Lisa, we think she enjoys the excitement everyone in our community has when participating in these fun events.  She really seems to work so hard to make sure the tiniest details from putting out the word, to the deployment, and the finalizing of all the many parts in the planning as well as the executing of these fun events.  The excitement shared by the community is only possible from her attention to detail and dedicated work she puts into the planning of these awesome engagement opportunities.

Fulfilling

Volunteering can be so fulfilling in so many ways!  You can really get to know the community on a deeper level.  See their creativity come to life and their love for the community.  It also has a fun competitive nature to the whole thing.  You really get to connect to the people in the community on a whole other level.  Not to mention, that it grows the community and their connections to one another.  You can expect fun, direction, and fulfillment in ways you could not imagine.  Thank you Neil for giving us this valued time with your wife and also helping her in many ways we probably do not see behind the scenes!
