November Chamber Meeting Canceled in Honor of Veteran's Day

Thank You, Veterans!

There will not be a November meeting for the Storey County Chamber of Commerce, in honor of Veteran's Day. The next meeting with take place Tuesday December 9, 2025 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Piper's Opera House.

Join us for the Virginia City Veteran's Day Parade, November 11, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m on C Street - Virginia City's Main Street.

Virginia City and Storey County are proud to be a place that many veterans call home, including members of the Storey County Chamber of Commerce. Walking down C Street, Virginia City's main street, residents and visitors see the names and titles of servicemen and women displayed on military tribute banners, which stay in place year-round in our historic American city.

Virginia City is also proud to host the annual Veteran's Day parade, which always attracts a crowd. The Storey County Courthouse is honoring veterans by displaying a green light, November 4th through November 11th as part of Operation Green Light.

No matter how you celebrate Veteran's Day, don't forget to thank a veteran for their service.
