Donovan Mill Stamp Run Days 2026

There will be an equipment demonstration at 10AM and 1 PM, featuring the Main Stamp

batteries #3 and #4, the Rotary stamp, the concentrating table, and the machine shop belt driven tools.

 A full tour of the Mill will follow the demonstrations, discussing local milling and mining history,

the development of ore milling processes, and the equipment and structures of the Donovan Mill.

   An average tour is 90 minutes. Closed toe shoes are recommended. There are steep stairs on the

full tour, but an easier and shorter tour can be accommodated on request.

  Private group tours are also available through the season, depending on

Mill Volunteer availability. Make inquiries through the Comstock Foundation Website.
