Celebrate the holidays with Virginia City’s 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Competition, a festive community contest showcasing edible creativity across the historic district! Stroll through town with your gingerbread walk map and vote for your favorites in three delightful categories:

• Most Creative

• Best Themed

• People’s Choice

Entries will be on display from December 1st through December 20th in participating storefronts. No storefront? No problem! Houses can be displayed at the Visitors Center.

🎁 Ribbons awarded to winners in each category on Sunday, December 21!

• Entry Fee: $10

• Chamber Members: FREE

• Deadline to Register: November 20, 2025

• Display Setup: November 30, 2025

Rules:

• One entry per business

• Houses must be 100% edible and handmade – no kits allowed!
