Locable is the platform that the Storey County Chamber of Commerce uses to power business listings, community news, events, and local promotions across Storey County. Every local business is invited to create a free business page that appears on the Chamber website and helps you get discovered by residents, visitors, and search engines.

Does my business qualify? 

All Storey County Chamber of Commerce Business Members and Community Partners are welcome to create a business page. Keep reading to learn more about what you'll need to create your page.

How to Claim Your Business Page

Through Your Email Invitation

You will receive an email from Locable inviting you to claim your business when you pay your Chamber Membership dues.

Look for:

  • Subject: Storey County Chamber of Commerce and Virginia City Main Street Invites [Business Name] to Join Locable

  • From: [email protected]

  • Click Accept Invite & Claim Your Business

Build Your Business Page

You don’t need to complete everything at once. Add what you can now, then return later to fill in the rest. Remember to scroll down and click Save regularly.

Images

  • Logo — square format works best

  • Hero Image — landscape orientation recommended

    • A wide shot of your storefront or interior works well

Business Information

Add the basics:

  • Business name

  • Tagline (optional)

  • Business description

    • We recommend at least 300 words for best visibility

Contact Information

Include:

  • Website URL

  • Street address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

Service Area & Hours

Tell customers:

  • Where you deliver or ship

  • Your days and hours of operation

Social Media

Add links to your profiles. It’s okay to leave some blank.

Custom Links

Use this section to link to:

  • EventBrite ticket pages

  • Restaurant menus

  • Booking pages

  • Online stores

Add a clear call‑to‑action in the Label field (e.g., “Buy Tickets,” “View Menu”).

History

Share your story:

  • How your business started

  • The year it was founded

  • Any history about your building or location
