Rustic Rope N’ Treasures was established in 2017 as a vendor and trade business. In 2020, we transitioned into a brick-and-mortar retail store while continuing to participate in local trade shows and major events, including:

  • Wild Sheep Show
  • Four annual events in Fallon
  • Candy Dance Festival
  • Various other regional trade events

We have been operating in Virginia City since December 2020 and have been patrons of the town since we first moved to Nevada. In March 2022, we opened our own retail space and have built a loyal customer base through our unique product offerings.

Rustic Rope N’ Treasures specializes in handcrafted and retail products, with a focus on unique, one-of-a-kind Western and rustic-themed items. While many of our products cater to a Western aesthetic, we also stock merchandise that appeals to tourists and Virginia City visitors.

In 2022, we expanded our business to include themed event staging, operating under the Rustic Rope N’ Treasures brand.

  • For the past three years, we have provided event staging and décor for the Reno Rodeo Queen’s Coronation event, setting up stage designs and table decorations.

Our goal is to continue growing both our retail presence and event staging services, further integrating our business into Virginia City’s unique historical and tourism-driven economy.

History

Founded in 2017

When we began helping our friend gather, check and process the cattle and while out in the mountains, started finding amazing 'treasures'! Then I began doing the cowboy rope baskets and everything just fell into place.
